I had a waitress who told me she voted for Obama…I said “Oh really”, “then you won’t mind me giving your tip to my poor neighbor?” Just trying to spread the wealth. Should have seen the look on her face!
I do not mind giving, but when the Government wants to force me to give where I do not wish to give.. then we have problems.
How many people are going to stop giving to charity now that big brother got elected?

Obama is definitely trying to “legislate” charitable giving. He thinks money will bring a solution the economic injustice that he refers to. The only economic injustice is when we set up a system where those who are skilled or work hard are punished for being more skilled and working harder.

I won’t. Charity is my life, and if I can do something to bring some sunshine into the lives of Sick Children, I will do all that I can.

My charitable work would continue no matter any election. There is too much need in my own community. No elected official is going to fill the needs of foster children, nor prevent men from beating their wives or girlfriends. As long as I live & as long as there are needs I can fulfill, I will continue to contribute time money & best efforts.
