I talked to the guy in charge of my car a week ago about my car and he says it may be a “total loss”. Just wondering if they can towed my car to the junk yard without notifying me.

I have been jobless for almost a month and now that I got two jobs coming up… I am gonna need transportation out to them…. is there a local charity that will donate a car to me?
Why do auto body garages & mechanics keep so many derelict cars on their lots?

It seems that every lot I pass, there are 5-10 cars that appear to be in servicing (only there for a couple days, and there’s turnover), but there’s AT LEAST (and sometimes way more) 5-10 cars with missing engines or tires, no doors, broken windshields, etc., just sitting in the lot!
Especially in the city, where property is at a premium, wouldn’t it behoove them to junk, donate, or take the time to fix them? Are they just leaving them there for spare parts?
So many of them are old, rusted, eyesores, and seem to be beyond repair… why keep them around, wasting space & making your business look messier? If it’s a fixer-upper, work on it sometime!
