My car “totaled” car is currently sitting in the junk yard; If i dont want it back, do i have to pay?

31 Aug

My car is totaled, I dont want it. The yard owner wont except $50 and title for it. I’ve already paid $180 for the inital tow from the wreck site. I was told to just forget about it since I already took my license plate off the car. But the yard wants me to pay $14/day until i can get someone to tow it out their yard. I cant tow it out their yard, so if i leave it, can they sue me for the daily fee?

What is another name for charity or “giving back”?

18 Apr

I am building a new web site that allows customers to give a portion of what they spend to a charity, group, team, school, or keep it for themselves. I am looking for a name that defines charity or giving back. Could be a foreign word that means charity or could be something completely different. What do you suggest the name be?

Can I get my registration money back, if I decide to donate my car?

23 Mar

My 93 MPV was smock checked and paid registration for next year, which starts 12/21. But a few days after I did that, the car broke down, I decide that it’s not worth to spend money on fixing it
anymore, and I’m going to donate it. Can I get the registration fee
back from DMV? I know I probably should ask DMV, but you all know how hard it is to communicate with DMV, unless you physically go there and wait in line for hours:-)

Thanks for answer my question

Has Obama robbed our federal treasury to pay back corporate donors?

21 Mar

If you think corporate welfare is a Republican specialty, think again. According to the LIBERAL Huffington Post, Obama is “the King of Corporate Welfare.” Most of the recipients, like Goldman Sachs, were companies whose pooled executive donations are among his highest and the highest ever received.

Using any of a variety of measures, the Obama administration has broken all records in the distribution of taxpayer dollars to American businesses, primarily banks, automobile manufacturers and insurance companies.

The tidal wave of dollar bills has stunned folks on all sides of the political spectrum.

David Arkush, director of Ralph Nader’s Public Citizen’s Congress Watch, told the Huffington Post, “In the form they have taken to date, the bailouts appear to be classic corporate welfare: As best we can tell, the government is giving astonishing amounts of money to private corporations and demanding far too little in return.”

“Forget corporate welfare,” said Leslie Paige, media director of Citizens Against Government Waste, in an email to the Huffington Post: “We are now seeing full-scale corporate adoption.”

Even the liberal media is beginning to tell the truth about this fraud who has ROBBED US.
Anita, you’re right, I didn’t expect anything different. I predicted it and told the Democrats exactly what he would do. They denied and denounced me then. And now, with the facts clearly before their eyes, they cannot admit into their heads.

Legal to give back the money for charitable raffle tickets, if enough money isn’t made to pay for the car?

06 Mar

Is there any danger of people cheating, somehow, with phony tickets for refunds? Should you put a disclaimer right on the tickets and make sure all know who buy?
