European Trip And Tax Credit Donations?

Hello, I am a senior in high school and am really interested in going on a European trip on spring break with my counselor and a group of students.

I was just wondering about tax credit donations

Because I figured that if i were to raise $4000.00 in tax credit donations, instead of saving it up from my job because i want to buy a car and bring my mom on the trip

However, I’m not exactly sure where to go to get tax credit donations

Could you tell me some good places to go to , to get my tax credit donations?Is it possible for me to get sponsors to pay for most of it ? or any easier options? do tell

I need to know where to start.

do you think it is possible to earn $4000.00 in about 6-7 months???

Should we charge for car wash fundraiser or just take donations?

We’re doing a fundraiser to raise money for a church mission project. I’ve read that free car washes raise more money because of the donations than when people set a price. Has anyone had experience with either and can give me input? Thank you so much!

How do you claim donations! Tax help!?

This is the first year we are going to try to claim any of our donations on our taxes, cause well we REALLY need to the money. lol

We donated about $250 worth of clothes, children toys and accessories (high chair, 2 car seats), 2 VCRs, a DVD player, and a Stereo to the Salvation Army. I requested they leave us a receipt but they didn’t.

So my first question is where do I go or who do I talk to about getting a receipt for it?

And do we need the receipt?

Lastly, how do we even go about claiming this on our taxes? Do we have to itemize it, or just put in the lump estimated sum?

If anyone knows that would help thanks!

Like someone seeking for a hard-to-get dream car?
Would it be illegal at all? locally or online? and for small amounts, like one dollar donations per person?

When people at Good will, or say a veterans Org. ask for donations of used Vehicles, where are the cars now?

I am looking to buy a good vehicle inexpensively, and want to know if these organizations fix up the vehicles and sell them to the public? If they do, can you provide the Names of any of these organizations, and their locations? I need a granny mobile, just something to get around my area in. Thanks for the input.

How do person-to-person car donations effect taxes?

A friend of mine is looking to sell his car, but if he can get more (the blue book value is high) for donating it to me, he’d rather do that. Does anyone know how this works as far as filing at the end of the year is concerned? Will he be able to deduct the blue book value as if donating the car to a non-profit?

I will probably get flamed for this, but i dont care, im curious…And i got to thinking, there are TONS of wealthy people in the world, and then there are people like me who work really hard, have no family to help financially, and need a little boost to change their lives. I would like to move away, go to school and start a career, but…i owe $7000 on my car, i pay $650 every month on rent, and the best job i can find in my community pays an avrege of $500 a week, so im stuck living paycheck to paycheck, taking one college class a semester because its all i can afford and its all i have time for, i also donate my spare time taking care of parents who are on disability, i need…like maybe $10,000, so i can pay off my car, put a down payment on an apartment, and pack up my life and move somewhere where i can DO something with my life, im a talented, good hearted girl who was born into poverty, it sucks not being able to live with mom and dad and go to school full time like most peopl
