Car Donation Orange County

where do the cars at auto shows come from? are they donated by dealers or something? what hapens to the cars after the shows? do they go for sale?

I was in an accident today, slid on the snow and went into a spin, hit a telephone pole. I’m fine and didn’t hit anyone which is great but my car is eventually going to give out. I was wondering if there was a place you could possibly get a car from a donation plavce of some sort? A car giveaway? I know it’s highly unlikely but I just thought I would ask.

I donated blood the other day and i was perfectly fine during the donation. They had me sit down for 10 minutes and eat and drink something. I felt great! I got in my car and I felt 100% fine. I was pulling out of the parking lot and suddenly got EXTREMLEY faint. I knew i was going to pass out because I’ve passed out before. I pulled into another parking lot, parked my car, and tried my best to call my boyfriend so he knew where i was. My fingers were too weak to push the keys. I suddenly started sweating profusely, i opened my car door and without warning, threw up all over the parking lot. Then i got faint again. So i sat on the curb, i couldn’t stand up, i suddenly had diharrea, and my mom had to come pick me up and her and my brother had to help me get in the car. I was breathing really heavy. This lasted for about 45 minutes. Is this normal? I’m concerned. I’m wondering if i’m pregnant now too, I hear you get really sick if you donate blood when you are pregnant.

I’ve donated before and always got lousy service, they don’t call back, or they don’t pick up the car, or say, your car is too old, we don’t want it. Even though the car was worth $2000

do you know of an organization that provides good service.

I am not talking about the legit homeless person. Talking about the scam artists.

I am talking about the scam stories they tell you to part with your money. You are in Chicago Illinois and the homeless person tries to tell you that their car ran out of gasoline in Milwaukee Wiscounsin. Or the “homeless “person who’s Dad passed away one day, then asking for a donation to care for their sick dad.

There are alot of ads that companies collect your old cars and donate it or the money to charity.. Has anyone ever received a car? Or money from a charity that actually collected the cars? how does it work? what state? how did you get in contact with that charity? did you get a decent car?

There are website such as goodwill, american redcross, 1-800 charity cars, Why can you help me solve an solution to an puzzle, i am not a bad parent, I could take care my children and I do have a job. But it do not pay well for me to afford a car, That why i ask such a question, i take it serouisly, if you going to help,help me otherwords, if not then do not answer a question you can not answer yourself? In 2004, my husband donated a car but didn’t write it off because our standard deduction was higher. This year our standard deductions are lower (due mostly to the fact that we bought a house). Can we write off that donation on this year’s taxes?

I totaled my car this morning and the tow truck driver said a junkyard would probably still give me good money for it. Is this true, or am I better of just giving it to a car donation center and getting it out of my driveway? It’s an 85 BMW 325e and I live in the Bay Area. If the tow to a junkyard is going to be more than what I can get for it, I’d rather just donate it but thought I’d look into what I can do to get something out of it.
