I’m sure all those people who have to take the crowded bus to work would love to drive those. At the very least, they could donate the cars to charity instead of destroying any little value they get in return for 4500 dollars. This misses the big picture, which is that government does not have the right to decide which industry it will help out, and which it will not. Since when are some more equal than others?
For those of you that say the scrap metal is more valuable than a running car, maybe you should change professions and buy up cheap cars all day and refine the resources. You can’t do this because that is NOT THE CASE.
