What Does The State Of Michigan Offer Single Mom’s To Help Them Get By?
I obviously made a really poor decision so if you’re going to tell me how horrible I am for what I am asking, please leave. My whole family works and none of them have ever had to be on state aid before. They have all paid into it so it’s not like your tax dollars will be going towards my needs. I am in a rough spot and I need some help. I am in no way milking the system.
Anyway, I was just wondering… I work (last year I made less than $13,000) and I am in need of some assistance. I am just wondering if anyone knows what the state of Michigan is willing to offer a single mother? I heard that sometimes they get cash assistance, a bridge card, wic and insurance. I’m not trying to make money from this situation or get a free ride, but I’m just trying to acquire some information. It’s important for me to get this help for my baby, not for myself. Imagine a baby that never see’s his mother because his mother works 80 hours a week. Or imagine a home with no groceries because I couldn’t find a babysitter. Or worse, imagine a girl and her baby living in their car. I’m not asking for donations. I’m asking for help to provide the best life I can for my child. I just don’t want to be ridiculed for asking for help. After all, it’s there particularly for people in my condition.
