I’ve got a beat up, 2002 Ford Ranger with 100,000 miles on it and a massive water leak. I’ve already had the leak fixed once, and a year later, it sprung a massive leak again. It won’t hold water. Other than that it runs fine. But it looks like hell. It’s beat up from head to toe because of numerous altercations with other vehicles over the years. The rear bumper is even bent to the point that there’s no access to the spare tire because of a rear end collision. I’m thinking of donating it to the organization that takes used cars, sells them and uses the funds to send kids to school. If it’s not worth much, I’d much rather do that.

2000 Hyundai Sonata. Engine is toast. Otherwise in generally good condition… I think I’ve fixed just about every other possible thing with this car.
Do I try to sell for parts/to someone who would consider fixing themselves? Try to use as trade-in on next car? Donate to charity (if it’s worth anything to them)? Wreckers? Other ideas?
What’s my best case scenario on what I might be able to get from it?
